Jodi is the President of Burness Paralegal Inc. Jodi’s family has been involved in the trucking industry her entire life. Her experience of growing up surrounded by trucks made her career choice as a Paralegal defending carriers and commercial drivers a natural fit.

Jodi enjoys the challenge of the Courtroom, and although her first love is defending clients in Provincial Offences Court, she finds that her prosecutorial duties as Municipal Prosecutor for the County of Lambton have helped hone her courtroom skills. Jodi has a fundamental respect for the profession and those that know her will agree that she not only takes her job challenging charges seriously, she takes it personally.

Most of Jodi’s spare time is taken up taking care of her twin girls and spending time with her husband. When she finds the time, she enjoys reading non-fiction books, watching movies and trying to catch up on her sleep.
